Roots that Remember the River

“He shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in season.” — Psalm 1:3

Nature.
Even when the surface soil is dry, roots keep searching. They stretch in silence toward memory—toward the river they once drank from. Their thirst teaches them direction.

Revelation.
So it is with the soul that has tasted God.
When joy fades and worship feels barren, your spirit still remembers the River. The drought cannot erase what revelation once planted. What you have known of His presence becomes the map that leads you back.

Application.
Do not fear dry seasons; they awaken holy memory. Keep reaching in prayer, in stillness, in quiet trust. The River has not moved—He waits beneath the dust.

Final Whisper.

Roots that remember the River will always find their way home.
