When the Spirit Withholds the Rain

“He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Matthew 5:45

Nature.
Rain does not always fall when we expect it. Sometimes the clouds gather, heavy with promise, yet Heaven remains silent. The earth cracks; roots wait; creation holds its breath.

Revelation.
There are seasons when God withholds the rain, not in anger, but in mercy.He pauses the outpouring to deepen our roots, to test what grows in drought. The absence of rain exposes what we truly believe about His goodness.

Application.
When prayers seem unanswered and skies stay closed, do not despair. Heaven is still pregnant with purpose. What feels like delay is often divine restraint; God preparing you to carry more weight when the rain finally comes.
